Garage description
A special version of the classic Smoky gun, Smoky XT possesses greater power than any standard modification, including the M3. An experimental series of these guns were stolen from the factory, and wound up on the black market. But crack corps of special agents are on the case, and it's only a matter of time - a mere seven days, in fact - that these hard-charging agents will find buyers of the Smoky XT and confiscate the contraband. So make hay while the sun shines! You can use Smoky XT till February, 22. On that day in 05:00 (UTC+3) the gun will be confiscated without crystals back.

Smoky XT was an XT version of Smoky, available in February 2011 for a limited time, and was essentially an more powerful version of the standard Smoky. Smoky XT was available from Warrant Officer 1 for 3,950 crystals.

Characteristics

Smoky XT has the same reloading time as the standard M3 Smoky. Its damage, however, is equivalent to had the damage of an M3 Thunder, and the reload time of the M3 Smoky. It did not have M versions, and could not be micro-upgraded.

History

The turret was released on February 14, 2011, at 05:00 (UTC). On February 15, its damage range was increased from 16-36 to 26-46. The turret was scheduled to be removed on February 22, 2011, 02:00 (UTC), but its removal has been delayed to February 24, 2011, 05:00.

Trivia

• It was the first ever XT item in the game. It had been almost 4 years until further XT items have been released.
• As of September 2015, it is also the only unavailable XT item.
• The turret was released as an experiment by the team.
• It was released before the rebalance, at a time where earning 3,950 crystals took much more effort.
• Episode 71 of the Tanki V-Log featured Smoky XT, as part of a history review of 2011.
